Paradigm Changes in Surface-Motion Estimation From SAR

Abstract: Based on our long experience and 16 years of cooperation in the Dragon project, supported by bibliometric analysis, we argue that the recent advances in surface motion from SAR can be divided into three periods: data sparsity, availability, and ubiquity. The methodological development, however, antedates this progression. Therefore, we provide an overview of the methodological development of surface -motion estimation from SAR and discuss commercial advances in the field.
